It's funny because I too didn't quite understand what people meant when they told me to "enjoy this time" when I was pregnant with my first. Shortly after my daughter was born I understood. My life was never going to be that simple again. And now, as I am expecting baby #2 and when life gets crazy at times, I just remind myself that this is the easiest my life will be for a while.
