Boy or Girl. Who Knows?

Awhile ago we told you about Paige, our loyal MOC reader who’s happily expecting her second baby in August.

Paige was so anxious to know whether to expect a brother or a sister for her 2-year-old daughter, Kennedy, that she pulled out all the stops in the prediction methods department. She worked the Chinese gender chart (see Should I buy Pink or Blue?), she did the ring test (twice), she even shelled out 35 big ones for the Intelligender home urine test, which claims to pick up male or female baby hormones in mom’s urine.

All these methods were in agreement. They predicted a boy.

Well, folks, Paige just had a state-of-the-art 4D ultrasound and determined unequivocally — she’s having a girl! Maybe it’s not so easy to outsmart Mama Nature after all. So you may want to be patient, save a few bucks, and wait for an answer you can depend on.

Congratulations to Paige, Matt, and little Kennedy. We love a home that’s filled to the brim with estrogen!

Does everyone, like Paige, want to know, or are there still some of us who love to be surprised on the big day?
