MAMAS ALERT: Graco Recalls Strollers

About 1.5 million Graco strollers have been recalled because they could pose a risk of fingertip amputations and lacerations to children, federal safety officials announced Wednesday.

Graco has received seven reports of children injured when they placed their fingers in the stroller’s canopy hinge mechanism, including five fingertip amputations and two lacerations, according to the Cosumer Product Safety Commission.

For more information about the recalled strollers, consumers can call 800-345-4109 or visit http://www.cpsc.gov.

Does this sound familiar? MacLaren recalled some of its umbrella stroller models a few months ago for similar reasons. C’mom guys, get it right!
