Mmmm … What Smells So Good?

Woman smelling the flowersWe all want our homes to smell heavenly but when we’re fighting pet smells, sweat and mud-drenched shin-guards, dirty socks, and stinky diapers, sometimes we wonder what aroma hits our friends when they walk in the door. This simple little recipe will put all fears to rest and get you in the mood for the winter season.

Ingredients: 3 cups water, 6 cloves, 1 cinnamon stick, 6 pieces orange peel (one orange’s worth)

Mix the ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered till your home smells spicy and fragrant. You can add more water as it starts to boil down. Cheap, easy and works. Just the way we like it!
