newborn cryingWow! Turns out that those itty bitty travelers in mommy’s womb-with-a-view are picking up an accent during their nine month stay. According to Web MD, reseachers have discovered that within two days of being born, babies actually mimic the melody of their own native language. Yep, they’re born with an accent! The finding lends support, and possibly even proof, to the notion that babies absorb enough sound in utero to be able to mimic it, once they land on firm ground.
