Food For Thought

vegetablesDo you know which vegetable is more nutritious than broccoli, carrots or spinach??

It’s the sweet potato folks! One of nature’s most delicious foods, it really packs a nutritional punch as well! Studies show that it can reduce the risk of many cancers, lower cholesterol, improve the immune system and reduce the risk of stroke and heart disease too!

And the really great news is that babies love them and they’re super simple to prepare: Just grab a nice looking one, then peel, dice and throw it in the microwave for about 5 minutes. Let it cool off and presto, you’ve got a fabulous finger food at the ready. For extra flavor, sprinkle on a little cinnamon or nutmeg before you cook.

It’s a perfect first food for your little one — and fabulous for you, too. Yum!!
