Mamas love St. Jude’s. For over 40 years this hospital and research facility has been treating children with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses regardless of insurance coverage or a family’s ability to pay. They take the toughest, most extreme cases and also assist families with lodging, meals and transportation. Doctors from all over the world consult with the physicians at St. Jude’s about treatment options for their patients and St. Jude’s International Outreach Program has been extremely successful in increasing survival rates for children with life-threatening illnesses everywhere. Founded by entertainer Danny Thomas in 1962, it remains an incredible resource for families who must deal with the most difficult and challenging situations imaginable. If you can, help them out with a couple bucks. You’ll make a difference for some sick and scared child out there and gain some good karma points too!
