Star Support For The Children Of War

heroes_artwork_final_homepage1Mamas love Heroes, an album produced by War Child, an organization that helps children whose lives have been ripped apart by war. Heroes is an amazing collection of hit songs written by legendary musicians and performed by some of the hottest contemporary acts around. War Child asked 15 of the worlds most iconic musicians (including Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, The Kinks, Blondie, David Bowie and Elvis Costello) to select a favorite piece of work and choose a popular new artist to perform it. The result is a fun and interesting mix of musicians such as Beck, Scissors Sisters, Peaches, Duffy, Rufus Wainwright and T.V. On The Radio singing their hearts out on rock standards like Superstition, Call Me, Live And Let Die, and Running to Stand Still. Proceeds go towards reintegrating child soldiers, building schools, getting lost children off the streets and lobbying for their protection and care. Do something great for the youngest and most innocent victims of war and enjoy a wonderful listen at the same time.
