Angels Foster Family Network

header

Angels is a non-profit organization that places children from birth to 3 years with foster families. What makes Angels different from public foster care agencies is their powerful determination to recruit and support caring, committed parents to fill this role. All applicants take a behavioral screening test and go through a tough 8 week training program before being certified to accept a foster child. They may care for only 1 (2 in the case of siblings) child at a time, and must be committed to caring for that child until she is permanently adopted OR returns to her biological family. Fully half of these families eventually adopt their foster child.

Angels is challenging our foster care system with a model that works. Check out the web site at www.angelsfoster.com.
